Canada Cup + SOAR= Champions

Last weekend was an exceptionally successful weekend for the SOAR Ringsport team!  The 2015 Canada Cup was hosted by Club de Ring de la Montagne in Terrebonne, QC under judge Laurent Bernard; and Hommes d’Attaque Benjamin Allanson (NARA Lvl II) and Patrick Doucet (CRA Lvl I).

Ionn was competing in Ring I and he did not disappoint.  He had near flawless obedience and his bite work, as usual, was impressive.  He ended up with a 187.35/200 and was tied for first.  A tiebreaker decided that Ionn would finish 2nd.  As such, Ionn has been crowned the 2015 CRA Ring I Champion and the 2015 Canada Cup Ring I Vice-Champion.

Indi also had an amazing result last weekend in her final trial!  A very hard decision has been made and we are very thankful that at 7 years old, she still has her health, drive, and willingness to please; but we also have realized that the time to retire her has come.  So the 2015 Canada Cup was Indi’s last competitive trial, and she did not disappoint.  She has had very little training since May, and ended up with a 244.8/300 which makes Indi the 2015 Canada Cup Ring II Vice-Champion.

SOAR Ringsport has one more trial left this year, the 2015 NARA Cup.  We will be heading to Chicago on Oct. 22 to compete against the best that the US has to offer.  Wish us luck!
